There appears to be some confusion over my casting requirements for "After Aida", the show I will be producing for Grads, Perth, in late June/early July.

"After Aida" is a play.

It is _not_ a musical.

It is _not_ an opera.

There is opera in the play, but these scenes are to be performed by five trained opera singers - who have already been cast, and accompanied by a highly-experienced pianist.

None of the five acting roles require any singing.

I hope this clears up any confusion.
