From WA's community Theatres

The 2006 DramaFest and Youthfest will be held from THURSDAY September 28 to Monday October 2nd at Marloo Theatre and hosted by Darlington Theatre Players in this their "Golden Annivesary Year"

A total of 29 plays from the following companies will be presented, with 3 or 4 plays in each session

KADS, Arena, Harbour, Darlington, Old Mill, Phoenix, Irish Theatre Players,Garrick, Blak Yak,Melville,Playlovers and from the country, Bridgetown making a very welcome appearance.

Saturday morning is YOUTHFEST with plays from Sawyers Valley Primary School, East Waikkiki Primary School Kidact, and Playlovers.

THe Adjudicators will be Rebecca Davis and Stuart Halusz for both Festivals.

SEssion times: Thursday 8 pm, Friday 8 pm Saturday 10am,3.30 pm, 8 pm Sunday 10am,2 pm, 8 pm

MONDAY OCTOBER 2nd will be Adjudication and presentation of awards, commencing at 11 am.

Acting Workshops For Young People 11-22

Term Four workshop Commences October 18
Each series runs over 8 weeks on Sunday's Cost $200 for members and $220 for non-members.
These popular workshops will challenge and develop the theatre skills of members in a supportive and fun atmosphere. In Term 4 2009 we have expanded our program to include a beginners stream (for ages approx 11-15) runs at 3-5pm and intermediate stream (for ages approx 16-22) runs at 5-7pm. We welcome new people and returning members! Get in quick as enrolments are limited.
