Set in the genteel rural society of England's Regency period, the story follows the initial misunderstandings between the lively Elizabeth Bennett and the haughty Mr. Darcy.
Adapted from Jane Austen's best known novel this delightful story, brought to you by a talented cast and complemented by beautiful costumes, co-ordinated by Brenda Stanley, this romantic tale will be a play to delight, entertain and amuse you for the beginning of Melville's season for 2007.
