Come and see Irina Spradbury and Tracey Stewart's co-direction of chosen episodes of one of the all time favourite BBC comedy TV series The Vicar of Dibley by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew-Archer. Cast includes Jenny McCann as the Vicar, Gemma Sharpe as Alice Tinker, Graham Sharpe as Owen Newitt, Geoff Rumsey as Jim Trott, David Fisher as David Horton, Martin Lindsay as Hugo Horton, Christine Fisher as Letitia Cropley and Ray Condy as Frank Pickle.
We take you from the first meeting of the new vicar with her reluctant parish through to fun times when Hugo is kindly but forcefully coerced into kissing and then proposing to his longtime girlfriend the quaintly clueless Alice - a cupid's plan that almost backfires on the enthusiastic vicar. Then the vicar cooks up a scheme to get the parish involved in a week's live radio broadcasting with similarly hilarious consequences.

The Broadway musical Avenue Q comes to the Roleystone Theatre stage in November, and we are proud to announce auditions will take place on the weekend of 09-10th June 2012.
We are looking to cast 12-17 actors in three human roles and the numerous puppet roles in this unique and exciting project. No prior experience working with puppets is necessary, but a high tolerance for fur is probably helpful!
Auditionees should prepare one character song, preferably in an American accent, for the first round of the audition. You will also be asked to learn a short set piece which will be provided when you book your audition, and will need to be delivered in an appropriate “puppet” voice. Auditionees for some roles have additional requirements. Auditionees must be 18yrs+
