Melville's second production for 2007 is the comedy a Passionate Woman.

This is the story of a woman, apparantly contented with her life, who, on the morning of her son's wedding starts to take stock of her life and retreats to the attic where she conjurs up memories of her first love.
To the surprise of all the family he 'appears' Is he real or only in Betty's imagination?

Come and enjoy this gentle comedy directed by Brenda Stanley, "relaxing" after her creation of the superb costumes in Melville's last show, Pride & Prejudice"

What is Susan's Secret?

Michael Parker & Susan Parker

David Heckingbottom

Cider Mill Inn is an old, rustic country inn owned by an endearing elderly couple, Michael and Susan Edwards. At first they appear to be bordering on senility. We quickly learn however that they are very clever con artists, preying on their unsuspecting guests. Using an elaborate check-in form, guests are, in fact, signing a work contract, requiring them to perform various improvements at the inn. Plumbers, tile layers, carpenters and electricians are recruited to do work they never expected. But what is Susan's secret?
