Kander and Ebb’s Tony award winning landmark musical takes place inside the walls of The Kit Kat Club, a seedy night club in the underbelly of 1930’s Berlin
where American writer Clifford Bradshaw meets the eccentric English wannabe star Sally Bowles. Secondary to this is the story of Fraulein Schneider (Cliff’s
landlady) and her Jewish Greengrocer beau Herr Schultz. Intertwined with this are characters such as Fraulein Kost, and Ernst Ludwig -- symbols of the rising
Nationalist party and the fervour that threatens to destroy the Kit Kat Club and it’s lewd Emcee.
