Four Dogs and a Bone

John Patrick Shanley

Dan Walls

Whenever I sit down to write about Hollywood, two themes come up regularly: the animal kingdom and ancient Rome
John Patrick Shanley

A naive writer, a desperate producer, an embittered actress and a scheming starlet take centre stage as they fight tooth and nail for control of a troubled film production. Sex, greed and egotism abound as the four attempt to save their careers and avoid ending up in a straight-to-video 'art house dog.'

Green Room Award winners the Act-O-Matic 3000 (The Laramie Project, fourplay, The Return) are proud to present the Australian premiere of dramatist John Patrick Shanley's (who has won Tony, Emmy and Academy awards and a Pulitzer Prize),malicious dissection of the contemporary film industry.
