"Office Hours"

What do an overweight jockey, a neurotic figure-skater, a gay lawyer, a has-been movie producer, a psychiatrist and a one armed man all have in common? To find out you will have to come along to see Norm Foster’s very witty comedy “Office Hours”, Harbour Theatre’s final production for 2007.

Directed by Susan Lynch this production is a series of very funny playlets set within one play that will leave you laughing and guessing until the very end. Set in contemporary Australia the story takes place initially in the office of TV producer Pam Gerard (played by Kirstie Chorley of Bateman), the play then moves to the offices of movie producer Gordon and literary agent Mark (played by Jamie Hansen of Cottesloe), lawyer Richard (played by Ben Matei of Maylands), racetrack manager Stan (played by Neil Mackintosh of City Beach) and psychiatrist Sharon (played by Nicola Bond of Applecross).

The play also features Tom Rees of Shoalwater as Lloyd, Judy Pinnock of Hamilton Hill as Rhonda, Peter Bloor of Bateman as Warren and Henry and Peter Kirkwood of Applecross as the one armed man who all join together to make this a very funny and enjoyable production.

“This play has been a delight to direct", says Susan. “The play itself is a little bit different to the usual run of the mill comedy and will make the perfect start to the Festive season”.
