Melville Theatre Company presents George Bernard Shaw's delightful comedy, Pygmalion for their June season.
The story of the erudite (and thoughtless) Professor Higgins who takes a cockney flower girl and by teaching her to "speak proper" wins a bet with his friend Colonel Pickering that he can pass her off as a 'lady' has been made widely known through the Musical 'My Fair Lady'
However this is the original story - and no less delighful for that!
Director Joan Scafe has assembled a cast of both regular and 'new' actors to Melville for this show not to be missed by lovers of good drama.
Sunday June 17th is a Matinee at 2pm.
Bookings are now open.
