David Jones Solo concert and ‘Open’ Master Class

David Jones has been the leading inspirational drummer in Australia for over three decades and is regularly a featured guest artist around the world in genres of rock, jazz, ambient, fusion and classical. This concert celebrates the release of David’s triple package Colours of the Drum through ABC records – 2 CDs plus bonus DVD.

One of the many highlights of the Colours of the Drum Concert will be playing a drum kit ‘stripped bare’. Laid out in all its pieces, David plays each part of the kit, assembling it as he goes and working up to a riveting audio and visual climax

The Master Class following David’s concert will give the public a rare insight as he imparts his technique and wisdom on musical interpretation and performing to three exceptional students.
David will accompany the students as a finale to a spectacular day of drums.
