Wollongong Workshop Theatre presents an exciting adaptation of George Bernard Shaw's classic "Pygmalion", which later evolved into the popular musical "My Fair Lady".

Directed and adapted by award winning playwright and WWT life member Deb Mulhall, this fresh new play "Pygmalion Now" transports "Lizzie" (Eliza Doolittle) from Victorian era London to modern day Sydney with a hint of "laddette to lady".

This innovative production keeps true to the essence of "Pygmalion", while mirroring its modern day appeal here on the shores of Australia.

From one of Australia’s most original contemporary playwrights, Vanessa Bates (Checklist for an Armed Robber), this is a black comedy with songs – a night of stories told by twilight (the original kind) with werewolves and with magic…
