Welcome…
to a comedy about complaining. Join John Robertson as he vents his
spleen, kicks against the pricks and wildly stomps through the
irritating world we live in.
“When did humans first start bitching? Who are these people that
yell out of moving cars? Why did they kill fat cat? What sort of game
is ‘Forky-Pokey Time’?”
John travels through time, pop culture and his ridiculous personal
life in a show about when the stakes are high, the chips are down, and
all you can do is whinge.
Using projection, puppetry and live music, Don’t Swallow: A Handy Guide to Keeping Your Head Above Water (In an Ocean Filled With Shit) is part cabaret, monologue and stand-up.
If you’ve ever felt ripped off, pissed off, beaten or down in the
dumps, come and be cheered up by the healing power of getting grumpy.
