The power and musicality of 10 operatic voices singing in unison will thrill audiences during The Ten Sopranos only Perth concert at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre on Saturday 25 July at 8pm.

An exclusive to the Thornlie theatre, the show is part of a five-week, 18-venue national tour.

The Ten Sopranos takes its audiences on an exciting musical and theatrical journey performing popular songs and arias from Puccini to The Beatles.

You can expect to hear favourites such as You Raise Me Up, Summertime and Amigos Para Siempre.

Meticulous attention to every note sung underpins this vocally exciting concert and results in passionate performances from each and every soprano.

This exhilarating concert is directed by and features critically-acclaimed soprano Penny Pavlakis, a former principal artist with Opera Australia.

Pavlakis has also won international singing competitions in classical and contemporary music, including International Star Search USA.

She has worked with the great Dame Joan Sutherland, Baz Luhrman, Richard Bonynge and Tommy Tycho.

The additional sopranos include Joanna Powell, Grace Mason, Marissa-Clare Berzins, Nicole Pexiotto, Melanie McLeod, Elizabeth Farrant, Kylie Thomas, Rebecca Wallace and Mary Temple Smith.

The Ten Tenors continue to impress audiences around the globe – come along and hear the female equivalent with vocal talent so amazing they’ll send shivers down your spine.
