What if you wake up the morning after your sixteenth birthday and the face in the mirror looks forty years old?
How would you feel if you found out your Dad had tried to have you euthanised?
Jane’s suddenly forty and never finished high school. What will she do tomorrow?

Alex Buzo's Norm and Ahmed
Directed by Damien White
The Revival of a classic Australian play.
In association with Lightning Strike

Midnight. A bus stop. 1968. Norm needs a light…or does he?

“Buzo has something real and immediate to say about Australian attitudes…” Griffen Foley, Daily Telegraph

A chance to examine our past, and wonder if we’ve really changed.

Performance times vary. On each night of the season all three plays are presented one at 7.00pm one at 8.15pm and one at 9.30pm.

The Theatre on Chester (Sydney) presents
The Servant of Two Masters

Written by Carlos Goldini. Re-Written by Nick Enright and Ron Blair.

Carla Moore

Goldoni is made grouse in this colourful and riotous comic masterpiece. Truffaldino doesn’t really think through the problems inherent in having two bosses – especially when they’re unaware of each other’s presence and desperate to get back into each other’s pants. Our hero reckons he’s found a way of increasing his coin and food income on his labour. Or, as he puts it: “two masters, two wages, two dinners – too right!”
