It's A Dad Thing! is a roller coaster ride of laughter, tears and songs (mainly laughter!) - chaotic, fun, shocking and truthful. Pretty much like parenthood itself, except it runs for two hours and has an interval!

The show features a group of five dads who come together to build a playground for a local school fete and develops into fast paced series of vignettes examining parenthood from a strictly male perspective - some serious, some hysterical, monologues, sketches and songs.

It covers pre-natal classes (where even the men practice pelvic floor exercises), the actual births (six hours of Enya tapes - the horror), attempts to cross the squeaky floorboards without waking the kids, introducing them to sharp knives, alcohol and pizza (someone has to!) - meet Superdad. And that's just the first half.
