Class Act Theatre presents Shakespeare’s timeless love story, “Romeo and Juliet” at the Subiaco Arts Centre for one week only – August 24 to August 28, 2010.
Directed by Craig Williams and starring a strong ensemble cast of young and veteran actors, this dynamic production will breathe new life into this four hundred year old masterpiece.
Class Act has a history of making Shakespeare accessible to young and older audiences alike including “Hamlet”, “Macbeth”, “Othello” and “Twelfth Night”.
The show will star Ian Toyne, Angelique Malcolm, Shirley Van Sanden and Matt Longman along with newcomers, Nathan Hitchins and Josh Walker and introducing Daniel Garrett and Cassandra Vagliviello as the star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet.
8 performances only – Tues to Sat at 7.30pm and 10am matinees on Wed 25, Thu 26 & Fri 27 August.

Class Act Theatre Incorporated was founded in 1994. It mainly tours schools with a wide selection of T.I.E. productions - the most famous being "Bully Busters!". Its shows are run on a profit share basis and provide paid work for around 20 actors a year.
