Director: Ramond Omodei

Venue: Dolphin Theatre, UWA
Dates: 1-2, 6-9, and 13-16 July 2011 (10 shows)

Three sisters and their recalcitrant brother are left stranded in a provincial Russian backwater following the death of their father, a prominent General. Their dreams are focused on returning to the magnificent Moscow of their childhood, where life was perfect and hopes of love and happiness always came true...

GRADS is delighted to announce that Raymond Omodei will direct Anton Chekhov's turn of the century masterpiece for their winter season. Omodei is well known in WA as the popular and successful Artistic Director of the Hole-in-the Wall Theatre Company and the first State Theatre Company. He has directed all five of Chekhov’s major plays, and brings his new adaptation of Three Sisters to this production for GRADS, assisted by the University’s WinterARTS Festival, at the Dolphin Theatre.
