Book by John Birmingham, adapted for stage by Simon Bedak, Steve Le Marquand and Michael Neaylon

Phil Barnett and Chris Thomas

If you are offended by strong language, drug use, skimpy or implied nudity, numerous sexual references and girls kissing on stage, this isn’t the play for you.

With the exception of the main character JB, actors will be expected to play about three roles each.

Scott McArdle

Scott McArdle

It opens like some twisted Shakespearian tragedy: a soft mist, deep moonlight colours, a young girl skipping on stage ringing a bell. She's soon joined by her two sisters and their captive: a young woman fresh from a nightclub, blindfolded and whimpering. However, the words that come out of their mouthes are nothing Shakespeare would have ever imagined.

The three sisters toy, and mock, and molest their captive until the time arrives for a change. What is the evidence they keep speaking of? Are they really going to burn all of humanity to the ground? And what is "The Feast"?

Written and directed by Scott McArdle, SCT takes a step back to the violence of To Shoot Love with the techniques of The Pillbox. This show is not one we intend to sell out and should only attract those serious about theatre and with a strong heart. No punches are pulled in The Feast.

THE STANDOVER MAN

Premièring at Fringe World 2013

Presented by Stained Glass Robot with support from Arena Arts Inc.

Pope is obsessed with miniature roses and Joan of Arc. He is also a stand-over man, you know the guy who rocks up in the middle of the night and shatter's your knee caps if you can't pay up? Not pretty but a job's a job.

Things are going alright, until he comes face to face with the kid who can't catch a break and Pope's perfect little world starts to fall apart.

Devised by award winning writer/director Jessica Messenger (Rain, The Shoemaker's Daughter, Flesh Wounds) and starring Mario Piccoli, Theo Messenger, Esther Longhurst, and Emma Hayes on the Cello.

Prepare to be offended – and see Santa’s reindeer like you’ve never seen them before.

Groovy Boots Theatre is presenting the WA premiere of The Eight: Reindeer Monologues at Lazy Susan’s Comedy Den in the lead-up to Christmas: a darkly comic tale of corruption, abuse and deviancy implicating the smallest elf right up to the jolly fat man himself.
