Manly Musical Society is proud to announce auditions for its November 2012 production of Godspell which will be performed at Star of the Sea Theatre Manly 23 November to 1 December 2012.

Godspell, by John-Michael Tebelak and Stephen Schwartz, is a musical about creating and nurturing communities, how you can be a part of something special and how special and rare that is. Its songs have changed lives, including making commercial success, which we all know is rare in Musical Theatre, and cast members feel incredibly bonded even after the show’s long over. The organic, unifying soul of Godspell deserves your attention...

The Society will be presenting The Mikado at the Octagon (UWA) from September 27th - October 6th 2012 - a total of 8 performances.
Auditions will be held at Nollamara Hall Lemana Road Nollamara on Sunday July 8th times to be confirmed

From the classic P.G. Wodehouse stories of the amiably dense Bertie Wooster and his estimable manservant Jeeves,
two of the theater's most celebrated talents have fashioned a jolly chamber
musical chock full of hilarity and invention. Bertie is looking forward to
enlivening a charity benefit at a church hall when his beloved banjo
mysteriously goes missing. Assisted by the unflappable Jeeves, Bertie instead
entertains the audience with an improvised account of how he and two chums -
with, as one song puts it, "a collective I.Q. of around 42" - all got their
names and identities confused in the course of one riotously raucous weekend.
This tale of escalating chaos and labyrinthine high jinx unfolds to the
accompaniment of one of Andrew Lloyd-Webber's most vivacious and sprightly
scores. BY JEEVES cleverly intertwines the twin English passions for amateur
theatrics and bumbling silliness, taking us back to a time when flirty girls
pursued men, not careers, and where good breeding took precedence over
brainpower.
