MONOLOGUE. NIGHT; when put together in a sentence, these two words can turn a group of actors into nervous wrecks. The actors who stepped onto the stage of our New York Theatrette were anything but.

The vision for The Actor's Pulse has always been something that goes beyond the craft of acting.

Without a craft for acting, surviving the industry would be close to impossible, if not impossible for the majority of us. However, what Billy Milionis has always believed and has passed on to his students, is that craft alone is not enough. As it is in any business; there are many things that go into making a successful career.

“The Kookaburra Kids” by Judith Prior.
A new musical theatre piece
for Youth Theatre, Primary or Middle Schools
Twenty-five speaking parts and chorus.
Some doubling possible.

I have fond memories of my excitement at being dressed as a tree for my very first school concert at five years of age. I thought at the time I had been given the important part because I was tall for my age but later ventures into stage productions confirmed the fact that as I really can’t act or sing..... and choreography is entirely beyond my comprehension, casting me as the tree was a brilliant choice by the school teacher director.
