I don't think it would be too long before even techies are being cued the same way, from a pager or whatever.

Another one which I use is available at www.rehearsaltheapp.com or iTunes & I quite like it. Also has tech or public speaking applications. Costs $25. Would be especially good with an iPad; works on iPhones/Pads & other smart phones, I believe.

Well Lisa it may not be that far away, untill warm props will be prompted via a cocklear Implant that can be plugged into a pager?

I have resisted being plugged up thus far, but there might be some value in the concept.
