AUDITIONS FOR INDEPENDENT SHORT FILM “TAKE”
Death comes to take young Ariel's life after many years of illness, but Ariel has plans to upset Death's tight schedule. (Run time approx 15 minutes)
FixedPoint Productions is now taking applications for their new short film “Take” – a supernatural drama to be shoot in Melbourne on the second week of January 2007 (location availability pending.)
All roles are to be considered part voluntary – part paid. All expenses will be covered plus some extra for rehearsals in December and the shoot. You must be available for an audition on either Friday 17th or Saturday 18th of November. Separate dates can be made for auditionees in specific cases.
DEATH: Characterised as a sleek middle-aged man in a black suit. He is an impeccable, particular and slightly arrogant character. Prefer males aged 25 to 40 to apply. Slight built, handsome.
ARIEL LAMB: A 16-year-old girl on her deathbed. Prefer females aged 17 to 24 to apply. Small slight build preferred, fair complexions, brown or blond hair.
Mr LAMB: Her grieving father. Prefer males aged 35 – 50 to apply. Beaten, weathered looking character.
DEATH's CHAUFFEUR: Tall and lanky character, prefer males aged 20 to 30 to apply. Extra, non speaking role.

At times sad, but frequently witty, this show could just as easily be titled " G & S - all the best bits"
