Expression of Interest: Actors and Wrestlers NEEDED!!!

Leslie Morris | 23/10/2007 - 12:44

I have a rather odd offer for those who are interested.

I'm writing on behalf of MWO Wrestlers. MWO's vision is to run cheap, family based wrestling matched that aren't violent or gratuitous. They are looking to gather a stable of character based wrestlers. So who better than actors. Free training will be provided (but a small donation just to cover the venue rental and utilities would be appreciated). i must stressed that age/sex/experience/physical prowess isn't as important as a good attitude, imagination, and a willingness to learn.

If you think you can share in MWO's vision please contact the owner Russ on mwowrestling@optusnet.com.au

So this is unpaid work, AND actors are asked to donate some money to be involved?

The next question is - how is a wrestling match nonviolent? And would the actors be covered by PL (public liability)?

I need to protect my dreamy, effeminate yet bold face. Sorry.

So it's a gym then?

Ok, following on from Na - this is for actors, who want to pay money to risk their physical wellbeing to wrestle in front of an audience? Also - I suppose someone is cashing in on ticket sales etc. So you in fact want people to pay to act and risk injury?

So tell me what's different about this compared to paying to join a gym?

I'll tell you - at a gym you get professional support and assesment and are at considerably less risk of injuring yourself.

Come on - pay your people something!!!
