Wardrobe Assistant needed

Melbourne Opera are currently in production for La Traviata at the Athenaeum Theatre and require a wardrobe assistant for our dress rehearsals and performances starting March 18th and concluding on March 29th. We also have some regional touring dates if you're available.

Duties include dressing principals, running repairs to costumes and organising laundry. Experience preferred.

$20 per hour.

I was just wondering Will, was the position filled by someone who applied because of your request on this site?

If so, it would be nice to know that there are genuine employers out there who don't just breeze in, drop an advert, reap the benefits of such a HUGE reader base and then meander off again without some form of recognition being expressed to the volunteers who keep the place running.

I am sure Grant and the "usual crew" would like to know that their hard work here maintaining the site is valuable in more ways than just "lip service" to the industry.
