The Schonell Cinema closed for regular film screenings in 2006 - due to popular demand and requests from ex patrons - regular film screenings will return on Friday 17th October 2008. For screening programs - go to www.uqunion.com.au and click on Schonell - prices still same as 2006. The Schonell has 4 x venues within the complex - Cinema 1 (capacity 420 - and suited to live theatre/Orchestra etc), Cinema 2 (capacity 180, conferences and film) Cement Box and Pizza Cafe.
