Bridgetown Theatre

Hampton Street, Bridgetown, WA 6255

Bridgetown Theatre is a well equiped purpose built theatre.
The Bridgetown Repertory Club Inc which owns and runs it was formed in 1932, and is recorded as being the only amateur theatre company to run continuously through WW2. Most of the money raise during this time was donated for the Australian War Effort. The current building was erected in 1960 by members and has been in use ever since. The theatre boasts comfortable high backed seats, is fully air conditioned, and has a good range of lighting, suitable for most productions

Its a pleasure to see yet another WA regional theatre speak out.. Sounds like a good venue and better than some of the metro ones... Directors and actors should seek out this one perhaps ..?
