Canberra Repertory was founded in 1932 and is proudly one of the oldest established theatre companies in Australia with hundreds of major productions to its credit.

Rep maintains a well-equipped and intimate 198-seat theatre, Theatre 3.

Rep gratefully acknowledges the ACT Government's continued and generous support of the Society through the use of the Theatre building though the commitment and determination of our members has seen Theatre 3 develop since 1973 into one of the most envied and popular theatrical venues in the region.

Rep produces 6 major shows a year including the ever popular Old Time Music Hall, now in its 32nd year, which is presented at The Playhouse, Canberra Theatre Centre each June. Theatre 3 is also made available to other groups for hire throughout the year.
